Most recently, Fallon-Oben was a volunteer assistant on the women's lacrosse coaching staff at Cornell University where she worked with the offensive unit during the 2015 season.

Fallon-Oben spent three years living in Lake Tahoe where she was dedicated to growing the game of lacrosse. She started the North Tahoe High School girls' lacrosse program and led the team to a dramatic improvement in just two years. After guiding the club program to a 2-10 record in its first season, she helped the team to an 8-5 record and an appearance in the Nevada State Championship in its second season. Fallon-Oben coached for BearLax, which is a premier girls' club lacrosse program in Northern California. She served as a board member on the High Sierra Lacrosse Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports lacrosse programs in Reno, Tahoe and the Sierras.

In 2013 Fallon-Oben was hired to coach a new women's lacrosse program at Sierra Nevada College, which is located in Incline Village, Nevada. She built the program from the ground up including the recruitment of its entire roster, managing equipment and travel, and marketing and promoting the squad. She guided the team through its first season in 2014 and helped them transition from a provisional member of the Western Women's Lacrosse League to a full-fledged member of the conference in 2015.

Fallon-Oben enjoyed a successful four-year collegiate playing career at St. Mary's College of Maryland. The three-year starter helped lead St. Mary's to 44 wins and four postseason appearances. In 2008 when she was a sophomore, the team went 15-6, reached the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) tournament final and defeated FDU-Florham in the first round of the NCAA championship. Fallon-Oben was a team captain her senior year in 2010 when she led the Seahawks with 23 caused turnovers and made the CAC all-conference second team as well as the Chesapeake Region all-region first team. She finished her 70-game career with 112 goals and 58 assists for 170 points.

Fallon-Oben graduated from St. Mary's in 2010. She is from Silver Spring, Maryland, and graduated from St. John's College High School in Washington, D.C. She served as the head junior varsity coach and an assistant varsity coach at St. John's College HS from 2010 to 2012. She helped the two teams to winning records in the Washington Capital Athletic Conference, which is regarded as one of the toughest high school conferences in the country.
